    Raahi Atelier is not about perfection or experience level. Whether you are new to art or a seasoned artist, you are welcomed exactly as you are. Our retreats are designed to nurture your inner world through creativity, cultural immersion, and shared experience.

    We believe in art through experience—exploring new places, learning new processes, and creating alongside one another. It’s not just about what you make, but how you feel while making it, and who you become in the process.

  • Group sizes vary depending on the retreat to ensure an intimate and intentional experience.

    Each workshop is led by artist Laurie Buman, along with thoughtfully selected local collaborators depending on the destination and experience. For specific details, please refer to the individual retreat page you’re interested in.

  • Yes, if the guests is a registered retreat attendee.

    Raahi retreats are intentionally designed as an immersive experience centered on creativity, connection, and personal exploration. By sharing this experience with fellow participants, we create a supportive environment that encourages meaningful conversations, new friendships, and focused time for yourself.

    For this reason, we are unable to accommodate non-participating guests in retreat rooms, including Deluxe King Rooms.

  • No—Raahi Atelier will provide everything you need for the workshop.

    You’re welcome to bring any additional materials if you’d like to work with your own tools. We’ll also provide an apron, but we recommend packing comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting a little creative in.

  • The retreat will be attended by women from all seasons and walks of life. Once the retreat group has been confirmed, we will hold a virtual "get to know" each other session.

  • All retreat bookings are non-refundable. However, we may be able to transfer the retreat to another attendee if you have someone who can attend in your place. Please contact us immediately if you are unable to attend and would like to transfer to another attendee. We will do our best to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee it. 

    We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance at the time of booking to protect your investment. If you need to cancel due to an emergency or illness, any reimbursement will need to be handled directly by you through your travel insurance provider.

  • We do our best to keep the retreat as planned; however, the agenda, venues, and experiences are subject to change based on availability and at the discretion of the retreat leaders. We will notify you of any changes or updates.

  • We design bespoke retreats tailored just for you. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or gathering a group of friends for a meaningful experience, Raahi Atelier will thoughtfully curate every detail.

  • The retreat is open to anyone aged over 18.

  • The retreat is available in English.

  • Since all bookings are non-refundable, we would highly recommend travel insurance, which covers travel, medical, and cancellation insurance for protection against any circumstances that might require cancellation or a change of travel arrangements. We strongly advise that your chosen policy provides cover against lost or delayed baggage, loss of personal belongings, trip cancellation, trip interruption, accidents, illness, injury, medical expenses, death, and emergency repatriation.

  • Immediate Full Charge: Your payment card will be charged immediately in full upon checking out. All pricing and transactions are completed strictly in U.S. Dollars (USD).

    Flexible Financing Options: For guests who prefer to break up the upfront investment, we offer seamless installment financing options through Klarna and Afterpay directly at checkout. Your financing schedule begins immediately upon purchase.

    Our Minimum Cohort Guarantee: Each of our curated journeys relies on a strict minimum group size to operate. In the event that the retreat does not meet its required participant minimum, the retreat will be cancelled and 100% of your money will be promptly refunded back to your original payment method (or your Klarna/Afterpay schedule will be voided).

    Strict Non-Refundable Policy Upon Confirmation: Once our minimum cohort count is met, the retreat is officially locked in! At that exact moment, your registration automatically becomes completely non-refundable, as local Mexican boutique spaces, artisan workshops, and logistics are paid and committed immediately.

    Travel Insurance Protection : Because your booking fee becomes strictly non-refundable the moment the retreat is confirmed, we strongly require all guests to purchase comprehensive travel insurance immediately upon receiving our formal confirmation notice. If an emergency, illness, or flight disruption forces you to cancel your plans after the trip is locked in, you must work directly with your chosen insurance provider to secure financial reimbursement.

    Accepted Payment Methods: We accept all major credit cards alongside our digital BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) networks.

  • If the retreat is canceled due to force majeure events or circumstances out of Raahi Atelier’s control, we will let you know as soon as possible and refund the total cost of the retreat.
